When you register with Yorkshire Meow, we will arrange an initial meeting with you and your pet, this is to learn more about them and their needs and also an opportunity for your furry companion to meet us.

We will need you to provide us with details about your pet (any dietary requirements, favourite toys etc), emergency contact details and your vet details. You will also show us around your home to see where you keep pet food and supplies, how to turn alarms off and on (if you have any), practice opening the door with the keys (which we will need to arrange to pick up) to make sure we can get in on the day.

Meeting your pet is probably one of the most important parts of the initial visit, we would not want to look after a pet who is uncomfortable with us as it may stress them out more! Please feel free to leave us  any information and instructions about your pet that you feel will make their stay as enjoyable and stress free as possible!

Once a contract is signed, we will agree on the times of the day (morning and/or afternoon). A 50% non refundable deposit will be required before the care period takes place and the remaining balance  is due no later than 7 days after the last day of service.

The visit should only take about an hour at most  and is completely free.

After that, you can plan your holiday with peace of mind as you know your pet will be looked after and once you are away, we will send you regular updates with photos of your beloved pet so you know how they are doing without you.

Please make sure that any neighbors or family members who may visit your house know that we will be looking after your pet.
